ABSA Fellowship Programme 2022

Bursary description:

  • Absa Group is a financial services company established in South Africa that provides personal and  commercial banking, credit cards, corporate and investment banking, wealth and investment management, and bank assurance.
  • For the bursary, ABSA covers tuition fees, accommodation costs, laptop costs, study-material costs, meal allowance, monthly stipend, 5 GB data monthly and student medical aid.

Must be interested in enrolling or studying the following degrees:

  • Science
  • Technology
  • Engineering
  • Creative Arts
  • Mathematics
  • Humanities (Social Sciences)
  • Digital/Data Design

Bursary requirements:

  • Should be a citizen of the following countries: South Africa, Mozambique, Zambia, Botswana, Tanzania, Kenya, Mauritius, Seychelles, Uganda, Ghana.
  • Should be interested in enrolling or is currently enrolling in the fields mentioned above
  • Should be between the age of 18 and 25 years.
  • Should be studying at one of the following institutions: University of the Witwatersrand, University of Johannesburg, University of Pretoria, University of Kwa- Zulu Natal, University of Cape Town and University of Stellenbosch.
  • Should have an exceptional academic record.
  • Should achieve an average of 65% and above in Grade 12/Matric.
  • Should have good communication and leadership skills.
  • Should be a team player.
  • Should be humble and passionate.

  • Certified copy of your ID/Passport (Less than 3 months old).
  • Documentation of why you need financial assistance, this can include parent’s pay slip and a motivational letter.
  • Acceptance letter/document from the university stating you have been accepted for the enrollment of the studies you will be pursuing.
  • Certified copy of your latest academic record for university students.
  • Certified copy of your Academic record (Grade 12 latest academic record/Grade 11 final academic record).
