Bursary description:

  • Accenture is a renowned worldwide professional services firm that offers strategy, consulting, digital, technology, and operations services.
  • The organization, which has personnel in 120 countries, provides specialized talents in more than 40 areas.
  • For the bursary, Accenture will give bursary awardees full support which will cover registrations costs, tuition fees, exam fees, study-material costs, laptop costs, meal allowance and accommodation costs, additionally, students will be mentored on a regular basis.

  • Computer Engineering (BSc)
  • Computer Science (BSc)
  • Data Engineering: Big Data Analytics
  • Data Engineering: Postgraduate Diploma in Data Analytics and Business Intelligence
  • Electronic or Electrical Computer Engineering (BEng)
  • Industrial Engineering (BSc)
  • Informatics (BCom)
  • Information and Knowledge Systems (BSc)
  • Information Engineering (BEng)
  • Information Systems (BCom)
  • Information Systems (BSc)
  • Mechanical with Mechatronics Engineering (BSc)
  • Micro Electronic Engineering (BEng)
  • Statistics and Data Science (BCom)

Bursary requirements:

  • Should be a South African citizen.
  • Should be studying at the following accredited institutions/universities: Stellenbosch University, University of Johannesburg, Rhodes University, University of Cape Town, University of Western Cape, University of Pretoria and University of Kwa-Zulu Natal.
  • Should be studying towards one of the degrees mentioned above.
  • Should achieve an average of 65% and above.
  • Should be from a household where combined income does not exceed R600000 per annum.
  • Should have an exceptional academic record.
