AFDA Postgraduate Honours Development Bursary 2020 – 2021

Bursary description:

  • AFDA is a private higher education institution which offers higher certificate and degree programs approved by the Department of Higher Education and Training, and the South African Qualifications Authority.
  • Film, television, performance, business innovation and technology, radio, and podcasting are all  offered at AFDA. The institutions has campuses in Auckland Park in Johannesburg, Observatory in  Cape Town,  Durban North, and Central in Port Elizabeth.
  • For the bursary, AFDA covers a portion or all of the course’s one-year full-time tuition fees. Current  AFDA third year students and AFDA BA graduates are encouraged to apply.

Must be interested in enrolling or studying the following degrees:

  • Postgraduate BA Honours qualification in Motion Picture

Bursary requirements:

  • Should be citizen of any African country.
  • Should be between the age of 19 and 29 years old.
  • Should achieve an average of 70% and above for their degree studies.
  • Should have an exceptional academic record.
  • Should have good leadership and communication skills.
  • Should be interested in enrolling in the fields mentioned above.
  • Should proof they need financial assistance.
  • Should be pursuing a post-graduate degree at AFDA.

  • Documentation of why you need financial assistance, this can include parent’s pay slip and a motivational letter.
  • Acceptance letter/document from the university stating you have been accepted for the enrollment of the studies you will be pursuing.
  • Certified copy of your latest academic record for university students.
