Bursary description:
- Binder Dijker Otte, sometimes known as BDO, is a global network of public accounting, tax, consulting, and business advisory organizations.
- Additionally, BDO is the world’s fifth biggest accounting network that offers a diverse variety of goods and services.
- For the bursary, BDO is offering bursaries to students who are passionate and want to pursue their studies or careers in chartered accounting.
- The bursary consist of full-fee and partial-feel bursaries which cover tuition fees and study material costs.
Must be interested in enrolling or studying the following degrees:
- SAICA (South African Institute of Chartered Accountants) related degrees.
Bursary requirements:
- Should be a South African citizen.
- Should be interested in enrolling in the degrees mentioned above.
- Should be studying at an accredited/recognized South African university/institution.
- Should be passionate about Accounting.
- Should have an exceptional academic record.
- Should not be a recipient of other bursaries.
- Should have an average of 70% and above for their academic record in Grade 12/Matric.
- Should have an average of level B and above for English in Grade 12/Matric.
- Should have an average of level B and above for Math in Grade 12/Matric.
- Should have an average of 70% and above in Accounts l and Accounts ll.
- Should have an average of 65% and above in Accounts lll.

- Certified copy of your South African ID (Less than 3 months old).
- Documentation of why you need financial assistance, this can include parent’s pay slip and a motivational letter.
- Acceptance letter/document from the university stating you have been accepted for the enrollment of the studies mentioned above SAICA (South African Institute of Chartered Accountants) related degrees.
- Certified copy of your latest academic record for university students.
- Certified copy of your Academic record (Grade 12 latest academic record/Grade 11 final academic record).
