Bursary description:

  • The firm advises clients on corporate, finance, competition, taxes, employment, technology, and  dispute resolution issues in a variety of African nations.
  • For the bursary, Bowmans is awarding bursaries to students with exceptional Matric/Grade 12 results who want to pursue law, as well as outstanding university students who are already studying law.
  • The company provides a full-fee bursary, entailing it will pay all of your educational expenses.
  • Academic merit and financial necessity will be the two key criteria used to award bursaries.

Bursary requirements:

  • You must be a South African citizen
  • Should be studying towards the fields mentioned above.
  • Should be studying at an accredited/recognized South African degree.
  • Should have achieved an average of 70% and above for their current studies.
  • Should have an exception academic record.
  • Should prove that they need financial assistance.
  • Should be passionate about Law
  • Should have good communication and leadership skills.

  • Certified copy of your South African ID(Less than 3 months old).
  • Documentation of why you need financial assistance, this can include parent’s pay slip and a motivational letter.
  • Acceptance letter/document from the university stating you have been accepted for the enrollment of the studies you will be pursuing.
  • Certified copy of your latest academic record for university students.
  • Certified copy of your Academic record (Grade 12 latest academic record/Grade 11 final academic record).
