GIBB External Bursary 2022

Bursary description:

  • David Hill and Leo Kaplan started GIBB, a 100 percent employee-owned African Engineering firm
  • The firm was amalgamated with the worldwide corporation GIBB Group in 1994. 
  • In1995 it had established itself as one of the most known and remarkable Engineering Consultation firms.
  • The GIBB bursary program is a wonderful first step in assisting deserving students. Students with a solid academic record and a strong interest in engineering can benefit.
  • The bursary covers tuition fees, textbook costs, travel expenses and accommodation costs

Must be interested in enrolling or studying the following degrees:

  • Civil Engineering degree (undergraduate, honors, master’s)

Bursary requirements:

  • Should be a South African.
  • Should have an exceptional academic record.
  • Should be enrolled or interested in enrolling in a Civil Engineering degree.
  • Should be interested in studying or currently studying at an accredited South African university.
  • Studying in 2nd year or higher undergraduate degree, honors degree or masters degree.

  • Certified copy of your South African ID (Less than 3 months old).
  • Documentation of why you need financial assistance, this can include parent’s pay slip and a motivational letter.
  • Acceptance letter/document from the university stating you have been accepted for the enrollment of the studies you will be pursuing.
  • Certified copy of your latest academic record for university students.
