Bursary description:
- MultiChoice is the operator of the DStv satellite television service in Africa, a South African company formed in 1993.
- For the 2022 academic year, MultiChoice South Africa has launched applications for its R20 million bursary initiative. Around 200 students will benefit from the MultiChoice South Africa Bursary Scheme.
- Ten of these students will be sponsored through the Nomzamo Lighthouse Foundation, which is a partner of MultiChoice and invests in the future of South African children, for the 2022 bursary initiative.
- The bursaries cover more than just tuition; they also cover registration fees, housing costs, and an annual living allowance.
Must be interested in enrolling or studying the following degrees:
- Actuarial Science
- Electrical, Electronic and Information Engineering
- Computer Science and Applied Mathematics
- Information Technology (AI and Robotics)
- Data and Information Science
- Digital Media Technologies
Bursary requirements:
- Should be a South African citizen.
- Should be interested in enrolling in one of the fields mentioned above
- Should be registered at an accredited or recognized university
- Should have achieved an average of 70% and above in Matric/Grade 12
- Should have achieved an average of 65% and above in university studies

The following documentation may be required for the bursary application:
- Certified copy of your South African ID (Less than 3 months old).
- Documentation of why you need financial assistance, this can include parent’s pay slip and a motivational letter.
- Acceptance letter/document from the university stating you have been accepted for the enrollment of the studies you will be pursuing.
- Certified copy of your latest academic record for university students.
- Certified copy of your Academic record (Grade 12 latest academic record/Grade 11 final academic record).
