Bursary description:
- Netflix is the world’s most popular streaming entertainment provider, offering a diverse selection of TV shows, documentaries, and feature films in a variety of genres and languages.
- Tshikululu Social Investments, a social investment fund management company, has teamed with Netflix to run the scholarship program.
- The bursary will be awarded for 1 year of study (undergraduate/postgraduate)
- The bursary will cover tuition fees, accommodation costs, living expenses and text books.
Must be interested in enrolling or studying the following degrees:
- Film/television related fields
Bursary requirements:
- Should be studying towards the degrees mentioned above
- Should be a citizen of the SADC countries.
- Should have achieved an average of 60% and above for all studies
- Should be studying at the following institutions: AFDA, AACA Film and Acting School, Boston Media House, City Varsity, Wits, University of KZN, University of Pretoria, University of Cape Town and the university of Johannesburg.
- Should prove that they need financial assistance

- Certified copy of your South African ID (Less than 3 months old).
- Documentation of why you need financial assistance, this can include parent’s pay slip and a motivational letter.
- Acceptance letter/document from the university stating you have been accepted for the enrollment of the studies you will be pursuing.
- Certified copy of your latest academic record for university students.
- Certified copy of your Academic record (Grade 12 latest academic record/Grade 11 final academic record).
