Bursary description:
- PPC has 11 cement facilities in South Africa, Botswana, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Rwanda, and Zimbabwe, making it a key provider of materials and solutions to the basic services industry in southern Africa.
- For the bursary, PPC covers all study-related expenditures such as tuition fees, accommodation and meals.
- After graduation, students will be obliged to work for PPC for an equivalent amount of time as the bursary provided.
Must be interested in enrolling or studying the following degrees:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Mining Engineering
Bursary requirements:
- Should be a South African citizen.
- Should have achieved an academic minimum average of level 6 and above for Math and Science.
- Should be studying at an accredited/recognized university.
- Should interested in studying towards one of the engineering degrees mentioned above.
- Should be in financial distress and unable to pay their education.
- Should have completed Grade 12/Matric.
- Should have an exceptional academic record.

- Documentation of why you need financial assistance, this can include parent’s pay slip and a motivational letter.
- Acceptance letter/document from the university stating you have been accepted for the enrollment of the studies you will be pursuing.
- Certified copy of your Academic record (Grade 12 latest academic record/Grade 11 final academic record).
