Bursary description:
- PricewaterhouseCoopers is an international professional services network of organizations that operate as partnerships. PwC, together with Deloitte, EY, and KPMG, is the world’s second-largest professional services network. It is one of the Big Four accounting companies.
- The PwC bursary initiative seeks to financially aid excellent young individuals who find themselves without the requisite finances to complete their education in the Accounting field.
- The Bursary is awarded to students who have excelled in school or in university.
Must be interested in enrolling or studying the following degrees:
- SAICA accredited degree (South African Institute of Chartered Accountants)
Bursary requirements:
- Should be a South African citizen.
- Should be interested in enrolling in the degrees mentioned above.
- Should have an exceptional Matric academic record.
- Should have achieved an average of 60% and above for their academics (with pure Math).
- Should be passionate about Accounting.
- Should be studying at an accredited South African university.
- Should have strong leadership and communication skills.

The following documentation may be required for the bursary application:
- Certified copy of your South African ID (Less than 3 months old).
- Documentation of why you need financial assistance, this can include parent’s pay slip and a motivational letter.
- Acceptance letter/document from the university stating you have been accepted for the enrollment of the studies you will be pursuing.
- Certified copy of your latest academic record for university students.
- Certified copy of your Academic record (Grade 12 latest academic record/Grade 11 final academic record).
