Bursary description:
- Sappi is a major global supplier of everyday materials derived from sustainable woodfibre resources. The company is establishing a more circular economy by manufacturing what the company should, not simply what the company can, as a diverse, inventive, and trusted leader focused on sustainable processes and products.
- Matriculants and current undergraduate students interested in the Sappi bursary scheme are encouraged to apply.
- The bursary covers the following: tuition fees, study material, living allowances.
Must be interested in enrolling or studying the following degrees:
- Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
- Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
- Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
- Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering
- Bachelor of Science in Forestry and Wood Sciences
- Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics
- Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering
Bursary requirements:
- Should be a South African citizen.
- Should have an exceptional academic record.
- Should intend to study at an accredited/recognized South African university/institution.
- Matric results: Mathematics 70% (no Maths Literacy), Physical Science 70%, English 60%.
- An average of 70% and above for their university studies.
