Bursary description
- Vodacom Group Limited is a South African mobile communications firm that serves over millions of subscribers with voice, message, internet, and integrated services.
- Additionally, Vodacom is a prominent African communications, technology, and financial services provider with a clear mission. It began operations in South Africa and has since expanded to Tanzania, Mozambique, Lesotho, and Kenya. Over 303 million people are served by the company’s mobile networks.
- For the bursary, Vodacom is offering financial assistance to students who are interested or enrolling in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
- The bursary covers tuition fees, textbooks, accommodation costs, food allowance and registration costs.
Must be interested in enrolling or studying the following degrees:
- Information Technology
- Information Systems
- Computer Engineering
- Electrical or Electronics Engineering
- Mathematical Sciences
- Mathematics
- Data Analytics
Bursary requirements:
- Should be a South African citizen.
- Should have passed matric with an exemption.
- Should have an exemptional academic record.
- Should be pursuing a degree in the above mentioned degrees.
- Should be studying at an accredited/recognized South African university.
- Should have an average of 65% and above for their university studies.
- Should have an average of 70% across all modules in Grade 12/Matric

- Certified copy of your South African ID (Less than 3 months old).
- Documentation of why you need financial assistance, this can include parent’s pay slip and a motivational letter.
- Acceptance letter/document from the university stating you have been accepted for the enrollment of the studies you will be pursuing.
- Certified copy of your latest academic record for university students.
- Certified copy of your Academic record (Grade 12 latest academic record/Grade 11 final academic record).
