Bursary description:
- Volkswagen of South Africa, situated in Kariega (formerly Uitenhage), Eastern Cape, is a South African affiliate of the German vehicle manufacturing business Volkswagen Group.
- The Volkswagen Group is one of the global leaders in the production of cars and commercial vehicles.
- For the bursary, Volkswagen covers the following costs: registration fees, accommodation costs, textbook costs, laptop cost, registration fees, tuition fees and meal expenses.
- Additionally, bursary awardees will get vacation work and tutoring/mentoring/training.
Must be interested in enrolling or studying the following degrees:
- Applied Mathematics
- Data Science
- Mathematical Science
- Electrical Engineering
- Finance / Accounting
- Financial Information Systems
- Industrial Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Mechatronics
- Production/Operations Management
- Purchasing / Logistics / Supply Chain
- Information Technology/Computer Science/Software Engineering.
Bursary requirements:
- Should be a South African citizen.
- Should be studying at an accredited/recognized South African university.
- Should have achieved an average of 65% and above in their university studies.
- Should have achieved an average of 70% and above for their matric/grade 12 results.
- Should be interested in studying towards one of the degrees mentioned above.
- Should be in financial distress and unable to pay their education.
- Should have completed Grade 12/Matric.
- Should have an exceptional academic record.
