Job description:
- This position is ideal for a self-starter ready to take on multiple tasks and support the Communications team in South Africa. We are looking for a young dynamic individual who is ready to take on the challenge at one of the world’s leading technology companies.
Job roles and responsibilities:
- Marketing and digital campaign experience
- Monitoring of social campaigns and reporting
- Marketing and communications support with large scale projects, exhibitions and events
- Writing and editing of articles
- Curated content for social media and internal /external communications
- Planning and scheduling of content using digital tools and applications
- Developing content for videos and digital platforms
Job requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Diploma/ Degree in Marketing Communications
- Minimum experience: at least 1 year
Job skills and competencies:
- A self-starter with initiative
- Creative thinker
- Articulate with great communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible and able to multi-task
- Planning and Organisation skills
- Some media/press knowledge
- Ideally some experience working with global brands
- Familiarity with Microsoft applications
- Proactive team player
